July 22, 2024 - What is News to You?

 The surprising news for me was that “The BBC joins Paris mayor for swim in cleaned-up Seine”.
I was not surprised by the fact that she swam the river; I was surprised that she swam for the Olympics. I have doubts if the Seine is really safe and how open water swimming and triathlons will be held.

It is the first time in about a century people have been allowed to swim in the river, with it set to host open-water swimming and triathlon events as part of the games - which begin next week. There were doubts as to whether the River Seine would be ready for the Olympics after it was revealed last month that it had failed water quality tests. But on Wednesday, Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo and other members of the Paris Olympic committee went into the Seine to prove that it was safe to swim in.





I am also surprised that the Olympics are coming up!

I hope volleyball wins a medal!🏆 I watched the FIVB Men's Volleyball Nations League 2024 matches on TV, and I am very excited. I want to see this momentum continue in the Olympics. My favorite player is Yuki Ishikawa, whose technique is excellent.

This year's Olympics begin Friday, July 26. What competitions are you looking forward to?

    Oh wow! That is amazing! I forgot the olympis were going on. We did not really have such a good and nice one in Tokyo, :(

June 12, 2024 - My First Post!

Hello everyone! My name is Megumi ! Let me introduce a little about me. I live in Yokohama , Kanagawa Prefecture but when I was a child, I lived in Tokyo. I love Yokohama so I go to Minato Mirai and Kannai once a month. There is so many famous sightseeing, I recommend you go to there. I like to watch YouTube and take a walk .
