   The most important thing about my experience in this class is that I used a lot of English. It was a new experience for me to use English to communicate my thoughts and research on various genres, and I struggled it.    I have two favorite topics .  One is " June 26, 2024 - Let's Eat! ".  The surprising news for me was that “ The BBC joins Paris mayor for swim in cleaned-up Seine ”. I was not surprised by the fact that she swam the river; I was surprised that she swam for the Olympics. I have doubts if the Seine is really safe and how open water swimming and triathlons will be held. It is the first time in about a century people have been allowed to swim in the river, with it set to host open-water swimming and triathlon events as part of the games - which begin next week.  There were doubts as to whether the River Seine would be ready for the Olympics after it was revealed last month that it had failed water quality tests.  But on Wednesday, Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo and other members of the Paris Olympic committee went into the Seine to prove that it was safe to swim in. 　The Alternative Media I would like to introduce this time is Misskey .   Misskey is a Decentralized Platform.  Misskey is just a platform for server owners to make their own instances of Misskey, and they can all talk to each other!  There's large instances for the masses, smaller ones for groups, fandoms, and subcultures, and even instances just for individuals and their friends.  You can make your own instance on your server with relative ease.   It is said to be a decentralized SNS alternative to X.  Development was started in Japan by syuilo in 2014. He was 15 years old at this time!😯  I first learned about it when a friend recommended it to me  w hen twitter changed to X.  He said that the strength of the site is that users have a great deal of freedom, can choose from a variety of servers, and can even create their own. There is a wide variety of reactions, and you can respond not only with likes, but also with emojis and stamps....

My favorite comic is "Diary of a Wimpy kid". The author is Jeff Kinney, an American online game developer and designer! The series has been translated into 45 languages and has sold over 200 million copies worldwide.   The series follows Greg Heffley, a middle-schooler who illustrates his daily life in a diary.  I saw the new Japanese 1,000 yen the other day as I work part-time as a cashier at a drugstore. There are many things I learned from watching the two videos.   First, I was  surprised  the first video( How large is Tokyo? | Biggest city in the world ). I don't remember, but it seems that I lived in Itabashi Ward in Tokyo when I was little and now, I live in Kanagawa, so I thought I knew a little about the city. However, I did not know that the Greater Tokyo area included Chiba, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Gunma, Saitama, Kanagawa, Tokyo, and Yamanashi. I was also surprised that it is surrounded by mountains! In addition, I was most impressed by the stations compared to the rest of the country. I like the Tanabata culture. I think bamboo decorations is beautiful and it makes me feel that summer has come. Watching the video, I was surprised because I did not know that Tanabata originated from China! I think it is interesting that Tanabata is celebrated in various places. I am interested in is  the Sendai Tanabata Festival . This is one of the summer festivals in Tohoku and a traditional event that has been going on for a long time.  The Tanabata Festival is held from August 6 to 8 in Sendai , and the details of the decorations are kept a secret until the day of the festival.  I would like to visit there someday. By Sendai Tanabata Festival Support Association I have not prepared for Tanabata yet this year. Also, I have not even written my wish on a strip of paper, so I will write it on my way home today!!🎋
